Visit Bishop Museum After Hours

It’s a night at the museum—Bishop Museum—on Friday, May 13. Take the ʻohana and get an after-hours look at the historic museum and its permanent and rotating exhibits. There will be live music on the lawn, too.

Waimea Valley Moon Walk

The beautiful Waimea Valley on Oʻahu’s North Shore opens up this summer to guests for a special monthly event at night. You and your family can walk under the stars starting at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. with an oli and a cultural overview that begins at the Hale Hoike. Food and drinks will be available from Bar Kikoni, Wahi ‘Aina Grill and Hale Kope Coffee House. Consider eating dinner prior or snacking on the way there, especially if you have little ones, as no food or beverages will be allowed at the event.

My Treehouse Club Open House
My Treehouse Club, a children’s learning center for pre-school prep, Japanese, art, fitness and more, is opening its new facility on Ala Moana Boulevard this month. You can check it out early by signing your kids up online for its open house days via Instagram. No walk-ins, so be sure to sign up online. The open house will include samples of fitness and Japanese classes and a take-home mini art project. Children can enjoy the play equipment with jungle gyms, rock climbing wall, monkey bars, swing and more. It’s not a drop-off event, so stick around to watch your keiki. Get Creative with Lego
Does your keiki love Lego? Then head to Wahiawā Public Library on Saturday morning and get creative with a box of Legos. Projects will be displayed in the library’s glass case at the entrance. You need to RSVP.
